On November 19, 2009 Former World Champion "A" Fuel Dragster racer Steve Torrence and father Billy Torrence, from Kilgore Texas, arrived at Mustang Creek Ranch in Salado Texas for a trophy hunt and had no idea what they would leave with. It rained buckets for hours and had no signs of clearing, but they stuck it out and for a good reasons. On the morning of the 20st Billy harvested a 44 point 233' inch Boone and Crocket deer and Steve harvested a 13 point 190 1/8 B&C deer. With a smile that he could not get off of his Billy Torrence said "This has been a once in a life time Experience." Steve has been hunting here for the past four years "This is one of the biggest deer that have been taken from Mustang Creek Ranch" Bill Grace, Owner. As Steve and his father loaded the truck he told Grace "I have never hunted with my father, I would not trade this trip for anything." Steve Torrence. |
